INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
POTTING
Fill pots loosely with FlowerPower® Professional Planting Mix. Plant with the minimum of firming and water throughly to ensure the planting mix is well hydrated. Take special care with fragile roots.
RE-POTTING
During spring, summer and early autumn, water the plant and allow to drain. Remove the plant by gently squeezing the pot, then turn it upside down whilst carefully supporting the plant in one hand. Sharply tap the pot to release the plant but do not disturb the root ball. Place a layer of FlowerPower® Professional Planting Mix in the new pot and place the plant on it. Fill the remainder of the pot with planting mix, firming tightly around the root ball. Water well using watering can with a fine spray.
HANGING BASKETS
Line the basket with a coir fiber. Half fill the basket with FlowerPower® Professional Planting Mix and place the plants on top of the growing medium. Fill the basket up to within 1cm of the rim and water well.
FLOWER BEDS
Ideal for enhancing and rejuvenating flowerbeds. Improves the water retention of sandy soils and increases the beneficial microbial activity in the garden.
RECOMMENDED FERTILISATION SLOW RELEASE 6 MONTHS:
2.5g per 1L of planting soil
LIQUID FERTILISER + TRACE ELEMENTS:
2 x per week at 1g per 1L of water
WATERING
Adequate watering is essential to your plant’s good health. Keep the planting mix moist, but take care not to over-water, particularly in winter.
